POW! WOW!, the fantastic traveling worldwide street art festival, made it’s first journey to Guam in collaboration with The Guam Art eXhibit (GAX) during the last week of September 2017 to collaborate, contribute, share culture and beautify Guam with fascinating art.
POW! WOW! founder Jasper Wong says, “”POW! WOW! has three main missions. One, it is to bring people together through creative pursuits. Two, to educate the youth and public about art and music through workshops, programming, and schools. Three, to beautify communities with art and color. We started in our own hometowns and we have made an effort to expand globally. We are hoping to [have fulfilled] these missions in Korea and build bridges through creative acts.”

Upon first glance, photographer Benjamin Von Wong‘s latest work looks like a Photoshop composite that shows a model swimming with sharks below the sea. But what you see is the real deal: Von Wong did actually tie down a model underwater with sharks swimming around, all for a series of surreal (but very real) portraits.
